Hi
Well been 3 months since last update so thought it was time

Nothing new happening , infact had been rather uneventful. Unfortunately we lost the powder blue addition :(
Although eating and socialising amazingly well he just got thinner & thinner and eventually passed away
We were so upset he was a beautiful fish
My dosing has increased trifold since adding SPS
But it's Growing so fast I can't complain

I am now mixing up huge batches of Randys It's a good few hours to do all 3
And not one of my fav jobs

We have had to sell our 2 blue tangs
They both decided it was good fun to eat Mums corals and destroyed 2 gonis and a gorgeous red bubble
We knew someone was doing it and was happening at night at first . popular thought was mag foxface
So moved him & it continued
We eventually caught them both, felt terrible blaming foxy
Ouch
Here's some differ pics I took during a water change recently + a few others
Hope you enjoy

Lesley, you're not the problem with Powder Blues, their country of origin is. If they come from ANYWHERE but Sri Lanka or Africa, they die. I've tried probiotic foods to no avail, they just waste away and die. I opened the last ones up to see if there was some sort of parasite and nada. I got 3 out of Bali and all were dead within 3 months and for once, it wasn't cyanide which is what I surmised. I've also never seen a Foxface eat a coral, Hippos, yep, plenty of them mowing through corals. If you're looking for a character in the Foxface family, the Scribbled Foxface are very, very personable little critters.

I woke up from one of the myriad of surgeries and asked, "Where's Lesley?", lol. M said, probably still in Australia, damn if I remember it.

Lesley, your aquarium is beautiful. The scape is a minimalist wonderland allowing the fish space to swim and grow, and the corals freedom to move and epitomize a natural reef. I wish I could be a fish in there.

They always comment that I fight going under so they have to hit me with more drugs to knock me out so it takes me forever to wake up. M comes into the recovery room and helps me wake up since she's a vet tech. I need to hide a recorder in there somewhere so I can hear them and what I say when I'm coming round. 1 more surgery and I am DONE!! After that, 7 months till I can fly and I'm going somewhere, dunno where, but it's going to be tropical, lol.
