What's the rationale for daily dosing?

Guys, FWIW Ive been interested in this product since hearing about it but have since decided not to trail Nualgi as the many many forums that I visit where one would find first hand experience I believe fail to show any kind of healthy support or positive reactions for this product, Many reefers seem to be referred to Trouble shooting and a mass of what I believe is limited information. My final deciding factor were a few posts on Reef Central that included Randy Holmes-Farley, interesting how limited responses followed a few claims that he made along with one of the largest forums having the smallest Nualgi threads. In essence the product could work and I make this claim forging an educated guess o_0 re the ingredients. I know you guys are all for DIY so though this would help.

Daily dosing (1/7th of weekly dose) produces enough diatoms for the zooplankton to feed so nothing is left over in the tank.
