@Sarg haha, No not the one with SOLD written on it. I was wondering whoever bought that would be on the reefuge or not.. Good spotting with those zoas thogh haha.

@RobbieMVFC Might be taking the 3rd compartment off- not sure if the entire uni will fit in the sump. Sounds good in theory though. If the whole unit fits will give it a shot, just gotta figure out what sort of lights would be suitable for it. How strong do the lights need to be?

Speaking of which...TODAY IS THE DAY!!

Went to pick up the unit today. Very solidly packed. Can't unwrap it yet though. Gotta wait till the floor boards have been polished and house is painted.Hopefully within the next month.

@David did all the heavy lifting, moving and paying. Thank you husband :D

Picked up these today from lifestyle aquarium.

For those interested they're bringing in the ultra coloured/rare zoas on thursday. We're not in melbourne then so super bummed we can't go and see!!! arghh
These are green with a purple centre, dark fringe with green specks.

hahaha he current 'scape' if you can even call it that was just us throwing in all the rock from the 55L tank so it would fit in the small tank.

dont worry there will be much thought and effort put into the scape of the cade. no rockwalls promise.

FIIIIIIIIIIIINALLY!!

The tank has water in it. @David was super patient with setting up this one- he'll have to update on all the hardware and stuff. All I know is that there was a leak, the skimmer and trickle tower didn't fit and we didn't have enough water... oh and 80L barrels are NOT fun to bring up stairs.

So here's the scape. It's a ;little different in the tank (of course) but still relatively happy with it. It's more difficult scaping marine because I have to imagine what it'd look like with corals on it and where to put them. Eventually we found a happy middle ground where I was happy with the look and David was happy with the amount of flat ledges there were.

Here's the sump.. Used the flexi hose to minimise the vibration and noise against tank/walls because our house is the size of a hotel room.
Front right is planned to be refugium, front left is a mini frag area. Back left is the skimmer and trickle tower - slightly DIY'd to fit into the tank.

And the inevitable blurry new tank shot. Will put up a better one once it's all cleared

Now we can tell everyone we've got a new tv!

So now the big tank is set up, we rearrange the smaller tank. It's in the bathroom now as a frag tank.
