Has anyone used or had any experience with any of the Santa Monica algae scrubber range?
I was particularly looking at the HOG1 unit. I know they aren't cheap but they appear to get good reviews for a straight out of the box product.
I know there's heaps of DIY examples on Youtube but I think I'm finally over the DIY thing.

I use a surf 2x. Quite like it, is undersized for my tank but joins a few other nutrient export approaches to cover off bases. Works as advertised
