I decided to get another AquaMedic 500 skimmer to have as a backup and use the one I have to go back in the Yasha - tired of the poor performance of the Tunze.
I got it from the Reef Shop at an excellent price, but it arrived slightly broken - the cup in the bottom had broken away.
2 spots of glue later it was fixed - better than pissing around sending it back for replacement.
I put it in the yasha to break it in! which surprisingly only took a couple of hours to be producing a great dry foam.
So into the main tank it goes tomorrow.

Mainly it was a bitch to tune and it didn't pull out anywhere near as much as the AquaMedic.
