Bicolour Bleeny turning single colour!
I bought this Bi-Colour blenny with a orangy/yellow back, though it is not as bright contract as others. But in recent weeks, my Blenny is now all purple, with only a tinge, a slight tinge of orange color at the end of the fin and that's it.

Do you know what is the issue?

Bicolor Blennies can be variable and exist in several colour forms in the wild. That said, if the are not receiving adequate nutrition, their collies will fade. Once a diet complete in nutrients is offered, their collies will return

Hi Dr Schell,

I feed them Ocean Nutrition Formula 2 and Nori daily, is that enough nutrition for the Blenny?

Thanks

Hil

I would imagine so. However, we must all remember that no matter what we do, we cannot offer as balanced a diet that a fish woul receive in the wild.
