I am still in the DIY mode, although the benefits are getting smaller as more and more manufacturers incorporate the light spectrums that have been used by the DIY'ers for a number of years.

I went out and bought the maxspect, amazing light, not cheap but very happy with the colour it gives. Excellent features that i didn't think i missed are back. The app is terrible but i can live with it.

It looks great, really slick. Much better than a big fat block for a light. Are you happy with the coverage?
Do you like the RGB for moonlight after the mains are out? I think mine runs at 16% B which doesn't actually look blue - just barely lights the sand - love it.

I use 5% blue for moon light and the RGB fan set to around a 420nm colour purplish, coverage is great, what i did notice is colour blend is excellent for something thats such a short distance over the tank, they have really nailed that part. The light makes the tank look crystal clear

My other toys arrived yesterday so ive been busy adding them to the tank.
