Here's a quick couple from the surf today. We have had heavy sea the past couple of days (as has most of the East coast). The swell has settled a little (down from 8m to 6m) and there was a few good waves around!

I used the 50mm lens for these shots (it was the one I had on my camera, as I didn't want to go and change lenses and have the frog hopping off in the mean time. The bugger needless to say stayed put for a good couple of minutes! Thats Murphy's for you) on Program AE setting. ISO 400, with flash and outdoor light on. Basic editing using Photobucket (auto corect, changed brightness and contrast)
Nice frog, this species is the Emerald Spotted Tree Frog (Litoria peronii)

sorry for the above post, didn't realise that it had already been identified, my appologies for the spam! Interesting thing about this species though is that the pupil apears to be cross shaped during the day. This is diagnostic of this species. See the image below

They are a beautiful frog species. Pretty common around here too, I've always known them as Person's Tree Frog's but I only have an old book on frog species. I'd like to do more fauna photography, just finding the time is the hard part
