Brown Jelly Disease On Acan?
Is this what they call the BJD? If so, this is the first time happening in my tank and I have to take the sad coral off before it spreads.

There's some sort of dirt that covers few Acan holes (there's 2 in the middle as shown in the pic) ... to be honest, I'm not too sure if the color is brown but it doesn't look happy that's for sure.

Any update would be much appreciated!

Mate my instinct is saying that's cyno growing on the skeleton , I don't think that's brown jelly disease.

What system are you using for alkalinity BTW?
I personally think that is RTN also caused by salinity swings and temperature swings.

Hmmm you reckon hmmmm

Alk manual dose using Red Sea foundation B.

Alk level at 8.1.

That's a relief compared to Brown Jelly diseases or is it ...

Manual RODI top off.

Temp kept at 25c.
Would recommend investing in auto top up mate, if salinity swings you will find RTN happens.
If temp is stable for long period and swings by two degrees you will find RTN.
Alkalinity needs to be stable as well.
Stable means two months.
A daily record of these should be kept for to monitor trends.

Hmmm okay, i'l think of it. I've never had good experience with ATO.

I've to admit Alkalinity has been moving from 8.1 to 7.7 ... not sure if you call that a swing?

From my observation, NoPox does reduce the Alk. in 3 days, it's usually down by 0.4.
