Calcium in dosing pump
So my next venture is a dosing pump as I'm getting a fair corals and now have small clam so cal needs to be kept high..... My question is how do you keep stock solutions of calcium from settling in the bottle.... I'm looking at making randys recipe and getting a 3 pump doser

If you mix it up well to start with it will stay in solution - it takes a bit of shaking but you will eventually get there (may take 10 minutes) - the alk component is actually harder to dissolve.

I mix the solution at half the water volume to get a good slurry out of it.
Then add another quarter of water and mix, then add the last bit.

I do mine in 20L plastic jerry cans :)

It's a good workout getting it to dissolve. :)
