Considering increasing the filtration
What are people's thoughts on this?
I'm tossing up:
* Surface skimmer ($60)
* Canister filter (free - have a spare one)
* ATS (Tank and return pump free - have them spare. Plumbing, sheets, and maybe a SCWD on return. $100??)
* Marine Pure block ($120. Though might be able to get one cheaper from the States. Still in the research stage)
And re: the Marine Pure thingy, would a great big block of coarse sponge work much the same way?? Or a bessema block/aerated concrete??
Any and all input welcome!!
Oh, and reasons for wanting to increase: to keep up with heavy feeding (current built in filter struggles around feed times), and a way to get some extra flow in there without adding a powerhead.
