Day 17 - Testing Water And Frothing.
Water testing today ... Most of you know I don't test water that often.
So today I whipped out the test kits at hit the numbers bang on.
Nitrate 0 salifert KH 7 API since I can't find salifert laying around.. Magnesium 1380 salifert and salinity 1.025 refractometer. I'll test calcium and potassium later. As well as phosphate since running out of reagents.
Plumbed in a new chiller and spent four hours frothing with the tank playing with flow and a rather noisy calcium reactor. I think I might be tempted to get a dosing pump but I can tell you I have plans for a new stand in the back of my mind.
A money pit of a tank, tick that box!!!!!
So tomorrow is the big day, got a three hour round trip to pick up my frag list.
Haven't received the Powermodule yet so the frags will need to make do with LEDs for a few more days.
