Looking good!

My AC70 is still pretty noisy ... am thinking about trying the vaseline thing to lube the motor better.

also i would like to take this moment to let everyone know im about 90% sure 'you told me so' the thing ignores any bafles with the design becaue it has to be 100% full to operate so ill just use a 1st chamber for sponge and 2nd for LR and macro algae...and maybe the activated carbon....would it be stupid to run carbon in the same chamber as the algae and LR?

Nope just need to let it sit for a day, do a leak test and then run it with freshwater for a day to clean all the excess out then you'll be fine

ended up going:
carbon and phosguard in first chamber (right or topview left)
LR rubble and crushed coral in the middle
sponge, de-nitrate and purigen (last chamber)

sponge was in the first chamber with 3 smal media bags but the flow shot them up the sponge shot out of the filter, the lid would hold it down but donw wanna have any flooding issues down the track.

for the LR rubble i smashed up some of my LR and then scrubbed with hot water and rinsed with RO and had a few small pieces i had in the tank and scrubbed inside the tank and threw them straight in cos they were small enough

hope u like it, please give any ideas and criticism my way...i also shoved in a perspex baffle (no silicone) to act as a wall so my crushed coral and LR dont spill over and creating a 3rd chamber, not to worried about the silicone...come to think of it, if i did it again id ditch the silicone and just wedge some baffles in :p

my favourite pic
