Using the slip bulkheads makes for a lovely clean look.
Only thing left is the small vacuum break hole on top of each but that'll happen on startup.

Thanks Dave, tried getting the high one in the middle of the holes and the lower one's top side just below the bottom of the high one.

Not yet, waiting for the tank and then I'll do so. I might not do the pipes in the box though, water text shows them holding and that's a good thing.

I have always found them to be a tight enough fit that they don't need to be glued.

That is my preference also. I don't glue them at all inside the overflow.
The slip bulkheads are excellent in this regard.

When I built my overflow box, I had the pipework just fitted together to make sure it worked properly and when I was happy with it i glued it together (but not into the bulkheads). But then it didn't work as well as before so I went back to the unglued version and it was perfect HaHa
