I had a small setback (see my TJ) and lost most of my american chaeto. It didn't like 22C temperature for 4 days.

I still have a little that I'll try to grow out but I won't have any to share for some time. :( The good news is that my samples of clumping caeto (unconfirmed ID) and Dead Man's Fingers have survived as they were in a different tank. Dragon's Tomgue is struggling and I don't know why.

Also the waiting list is very long so we're going to close it to any more names for now while we catch up.

It will be reopened later.

I agree as well when it comes to the 1st lot back into the system (regardless of state), as that was the agreed rules.
Once the 1st lot has been returned however, I don't have a problem with people supplying it locally.
I was under the understanding of "paying it forward". The 1st amount we receive was supposed to be shipped at our expense, and then when we have enough to pass on, they had to pay for the shipping to the next person as our way of paying the system back.
Once we had returned that amount we could do as we please with our macro.

Can someone clarify this?

I don't have a problem with returning more macro then I've received back into the program, which is why I'm responding to this.

Yes - the person receiving the algae is supposed to pay postage or preferably to most, supply a self addressed express satchel. That was the deal from the start, as was helping out those on the waiting list. I started this program with the expressed purpose of helping active reefuge users. It seems to be straying.

Of course everyone was going to help out mates offline but as far as I'm concerned next on the list should be next in line - with the possible exception of WA & NT because of travel times. When I release the next 3 special macros I will have to be more clear.
