Getting Equipped
Okay so I've been assembling my equipment online. I'll be primarily buying from Guppys and TheReefShop. I'd prefer to buy from Ben at AOA because I know him from back in the day, but he doesn't have the items I'm looking for unfortunately.
I'm at work at the moment so I can't write out the entire list but some of the main items are an RLSS skimmer (thanks to the good people here at The Reefuge for their advice), DsunY LED lights, 3 x 4 Tube 80W T5 tubes, Sicce return pump, Jebao wave makers, Hailea Chiller etc.
I'll compile a full list later. I'd love any advice or feedback if you have any.
Thanks guys :P

Unfortunately there's no LFS around me that (and I sound like an arrogant tool saying this) is at my level of understanding/enthusiasm for reef hardware :P I'll search around online and see what I can come up with. I'll avoid Guppys as much as possible.
Thanks for the heads up!

Are there any you would ask and get them to ship it to you or hold it for you?

RLSS Stockists straight from the Aus Distributors web site.

Don't go to TVS Aquatics in Hallam though, they are very poor in service.
Reeflections will post and offer great service.

+1 for Guppy avoidance. Personal experience, warranty claim was handled so poorly it was actually pathetic (apparently consumer law means nothing to some people, let alone ethics).

My Jebao WP-10 lasted 5weeks before crapping out on me. Luckily I have Australia warranty and the seller is good to deal with. I got a spare from Fish Street with my BM Curve 5, seems to be good so far:)

If you haven't committed to Guppy's, run now while you still can !

+1 on the jebao pumps and wavemakers. I use a 12000 lph return on the 2000L prop tank. I also use one for pumping water from our IBCs to the tanks. All work fantastically.

I had no problem processing a warranty claim with fish street as well. Sent a picture, they offered multiple options to resolve the problem (different product arrived broken).
