Hc-100a Chiller
image.jpg
my son just got him self a 2nd hand ch-100 chiller.
On the side where the fuse and power cord comes out is a little electrical opening.
Can some one tell me if these chillers have an on/off switch
Cain't seem to find anything on the web.

As above, looks like there was an switch there, most of these things run a generic sized switches which can be bought from electrical suppliers like Jaycar and someone with electrical knowledge/electrician would make a quick job of it.

Yeah went to Jaycar and guess what.? The switch we need is all sold out, lol
They should have some more in next week.
Also do you think this size chill will be big enough for a 80lt nano.
They say it's good for a 300 lt tank but chillers can be funny things when it comes down to chilling water.

Hey Dazzmax

Should be more than fine! - I used a HC100 on my 120L reef. In a home without A/C and it was always spot on. Be sure to pump the correct flow rate through the chiller.
