HD tank images needed
Hi everyone,

I am in need of some high resolution, sharp and detailed images of coral in a tank. I need this for the header above the navigation. If anyone has some large image files that they are willing to let this site use, please post them here.

Thanks.

What's the maximum file size? I just received an error because the file size was too big for the server.

And what format - PNG looks to be the best as I can't upload a TIFF.

what resolution is your camera and what lens did you use for that? My D70 couldn't get close to that in RAW :D
I am using a Canon 600D which has a maximum resolution of 5184 x 3456 - I shoot in RAW and convert to JPEG. The D70 has a maximum resolution of 3000 x 2000 so there is a bit of a difference ;)

The Tamron 90mm Macro lens helps as well :)

what other lenses do you use shane?
I just have the kit lenses - 18-55mm IS and 55-250mm IS.

These are both fine for what I use them for but an important requirement when I got the camera was the ability to take good pictures of the tank, thus the Tamron ;)

The kit lenses are good enough for FTS's etc.

Damn being an early adopter of new technology and all.. get to pay top dollar for the tech and have it go out of so damn quickly lol. Been thinking Tamron is probably where I'll wind up for a macro. My 70-300mm Tamron does offer macro - starting at 180mm, so I sorta need to be in the next room. Also, @ 1:4-5.6, it's not exactly fond of things moving in bugger all light. :D
