Is the above readable? current state as of today, 24 January 2016 3 pm AEST.

Any input or feedback are much appreciated.

Salinity a tad high; chance is water evaporates before it gets to LFS this arvo.

Just a quick update on the 2L siporax and 6ml NoPox dosing on nightly basis has done a great achievement.

I don't know what has impacted the No3 but it's down now to 5 ~ 10 ppm.

Several changes that I did on my practice:
  • Rinse the food with RODI water.
  • Feed less (1 cube per day, split to two: morning and evening).
  • Put 2L siporax in the sump.
  • Dose 6 ml NoPox according the manual (I've been under dosing according to Aviad Red Sea).
  • Did bigger WC for the past 2 weeks ... 60L out of 180L.
  • Skim wet.
I hope this is it and won't be seeing any spike on Nitrate anymore. fingers crossed :)

How many fish do you have in your tank, my nitrates are up and down at the moment, might be over feeding but they look like they are hungry

what is siporax?
In short, Siporax is basically a media to house both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria to assist with the complete cycle of Nitrogen.

Similar products to Siporax are live rocks, Seachem Matrix, Marine Pure Bio Balls, Ceramic Rings et al.

The claim (marketing) is that Siporax are extremely porous media, which makes it ideal to house bacteria.

I have 4 fish, they're all look hungry at all time. I have 1 that requires frequent feeding too: fathead Anthias.

It's hard to say if my No3 level is stable as it's only been 2 weeks; once I hit approx. 2 months mark of low No3, it's probably then safe for me to say that I have full working model of export nutrients.

I neglected my tank with no dosing of NoPox but just 10% weekly WC, No3 stay 0.
