1706 / 38.2 = 44.6596859. That would be 44.659 litres worth of salt. That'd be about right. My current blue treasure salt is basically 1kilo per 20L

lol that's how I worked it out before posting it and thought I had to convert it from gallons to litres but obviously g/l means grams to litres lol... Such a noob

Next question I did a tap water test is ok to leave about 20 litres of tap water in there. It's in the back of the sump lol, or best to pull it apart

Not sure I understand that last question. But do yourself a favor and don't use tap water .treat as poison.
Only use RO/DI water

Long story short can't get the tap water out of the sump unless I take the sump out. Won't syphon. Yes I'm using Ro/Di water, just have around 20L of tap water stuck in my tank

Can you get a small pump in there? It's not that big of a deal, but to give you an idea - if I could get it out in about 6 hours, I'd do it. If it took more than six hours, id leave it.

Got a straw?

Is there anything wrong with mixing the salt in the tank? Won't damge my glass?

Otherwise just stick a chamois (Kath and Kim sham-oyyy) or towel in and it will suck the water up. Then you just squeeze it out and go again.
