In the top photo the photo is of the four foot M-120S.
I was able to capture the difference in the royal blue Cree XP-E and blue Cree XP-E LED for the first time today in the middle horizontal rows.
This is almost impossible to tell with the naked eye.
The other row of cool white Cree XP-G and neutral white Cree XP-G can be seen too.
The vertical three purple rows are the near UV LEDS , These near UV benefit Coral and inverts both during the day and at night as moonlight suppliment.

The photos attached are the new version product with optical lens module and patterened glass cover. The new version product is composed of a complete LED circuit board module with 16 pcs LEDs. Unlike the commercial optical lens, our optical lens are made of high quality silicone which are highly stable to heat and UV light. The specially designed lens diameter can bring out the best performance of the LEDs and concentrate the light in ~70 degree. The concentrated light can deeply penetrate into the water and avoid unnecessary loss of light due to the big light angle.

With regard to the patterned glass cover, it is supplied by a professional glass company which supplys glass panel for high end electronic products such as television and other devices. These glass covers are cut in very high precision and can accommodate the fixture perfectly. The white colored pattern on the glass cover has two main functions. One is to hide the cables and wires inside the fixture although the wiring in this new product has already become more simple and neat. The other function is to play as a reflector to the light back-reflected from the tank and increase the light intensity.

Hello nick,

The photo you are refering to was taken in the sunny cool mode at peak intensity of the light cycle . The lights are M-60S. The tank size is approx 2150 l 750 w and 700 deep.

The owner only uses nsw with no additives and has a futher 2000 liters connected to this.

There are no tank journals as he does not see the fuss about it.
The tank has been around for 10 years, however, all the stock was lost about 3 years ago due to faulty heater and chiller malfunction.

What price are we looking at for the light in the first picture?

Does it come with any fittings that allow me to clamp it onto the side of the tank?

Hello Talmier,

There are two sylyles of legs available to suit either Rimless or Euro braced tanks. They come in 6cm, 9cm and 12cm. The euro brace design incorporates the three sizes.

The brand new Illumagic Blaze Advance is about to be launched.

The advance features optics for the first time and a new light set out.
The internal circuit boards have been re-designed.
And other features that cannot be released to the public yet.

The light will be available offering the choice between a Cree LED model and a Polar LED model.

Hi luke,

Illumagic have been working closely with Polar for nearly a year, during this time they have developed a special LED.

This new led that they have developed looks like "Fiji Purple"

This special purple will feature in the Advance edition.

You got any more info on the purple LEDs at all, Nils? I've been waiting to see these for a while now. The new units look like the designers have taken stock of the suggestions and produced something nice - be interesting to see how it bears in action.
