My unit is set to weekly, running the factory settings of P1 and P2 on alternating days, I prefer P2 for weekends and have that set on Saturdays and Sunday's .

I had a look at the illumagic info and they look good to me but being new almost everything looks good! I havent even got my first tank and already thinking of mods. The aquareef 275L comes with 4x t5 tubes in the hood but I've been thinking (scarey! ) that leds might be a better option. From what I could understand of their info the S series would give me the wider range of coral options but unsure on size I would need. The cube is 70cm across and I would need to have it on top of the tank and not suspended. I have no idea if their numbering as in M -45c means the unit is 45cm. Any input appreciated, I have a spare hammer to hit me with so it might sink in:eek

it is a little confusing,
what they have done is done away with the two models and just made one what is a 1 blue per 1 white LED mix. , also the fans are inside the newer units. (countersunk)

Ok tx for clarifying that for me, so much info around I end up confusing myself at times :-). Which size do you think would work for the 70cm wide cube tank?

a 60cm unit will do that fine. will just need to be hung at an appropriate height. and if it wasnt enough latter on you could add a second, IMO one will be fine tho

Tx again for the info. I checked out a couple of the retailers and I wont be getting one unfortunately. The 60cm is $1600 which is way above my affordability. I had been looking at a single radeon panel for the 70cm tank and if I remember right it was about $900.

thats way over priced!!! a 60cm should be around 900-1000
