Im Back
Hey every one,

Suffice to say the tank has taken a big back seat to life over the last few years.

We purchased 1 & 1/2 acres on the sunshine coast and built a house so the tank unfortunately has been put on the back burner untill now. Even got to the point of wanting to shut it down but my wife fortunately talked me out of it. Also it was going to be hard to say good by to.my clown fish i have had for 13 years.

Tank is far from what it used to be due to having nusance algea takeing over. I have an acan 3 fish and a couple of leathers and mushrooms.

We are about to fly out to vanuatu for a couple of weeks but I will post some pics before we go.

Looking foward to re building.

Onwards and upwards! Good to have you back :)
Thanks sam,

Tank is going through a cycle. As expected after moveing the tanks location and replaceing 80% of the water last weekend.

I have also deceided to go bear bottom sump with chateau and got rid of the mirical mud so will see how that goes after running that set up for the last 8 years

Couple of pics of how it looks after the move. Sorry nothing exciting. Scape is just were the rock landed on the day of the move.

Back after a couple of weeks over sees. Tank seemed to go well while I was away.

Had some further nusance algea growth but to be expected as tank will have done a mini cycle. It was less growth than i was expecting so im happy with it.

Carried out an 80L water change and I will do another one this sunday to get on top of the algae.

Added one of our favorite fish today a bi color blenny to
assist with the clean up crews
