After testing the piping with rainwater for leaks, it was time to add the salt water.
Had to drain all the fresh water first!
I decided to go about mixing my own salt water too. First time for everything cause I made the mistake of heating the water slightly.

Also hooked up my skimmer. BH 90 from reef octopus purchased second hand, so didn't really need anything break in period.

And the ato with a makeshift reservoir from an old container.Exciting!

The marine tank is sitting next to a goldfish tank. The cupboard is under the gold fish tank was empty with just canister filter so I thought Id used it for the sump.
