Ok, on to the fun part. The pictures! Apologies for the quality of them, they are all taken on my phone...
Here is the tank setup at home with just the sand, live rock and ASW. It was our first attempt at aqua scaping and I didn't mind it:
Shortly after, I decided to rescape as I thought it was a bit too closed up in some areas and open in others, and I wanted to create some swim-throughs. This is what I came up with:
Watching live rock and water has to be the hardest thing in this hobby, but thankfully the rock did come with a few hitch hikers to keep things interesting:
