I don't know when or if it's coming to market, but Jebao/Jecod has cloned the Maxspect gyre generator.

It's not a surprise but I can understand why Maxspect would be a bit upset.

If they hadn't done it, I was going to work with an engineer to build one myself as the back of the WP series of pumps is damn near open. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it used one or 2 of their off the shelf motors.

from what i have read they can not be any worse than the maxspect ;-)

I understand the they do have patents, especially in the US and Europe, but that hasn't worried the Chinese before :rolleyes

Even so, if Jebao/Jecod changed something, even something minuscule, it'll pass here in the US which is what I'm hoping for. I sent Eric an email and here's the response:
