And here's my old mantra ... for a 6ft I would get 3x Radions, probably the Gen 2s which are around $650 each, so <$2k.

They should be fine they have wide spread, they are good lights how much is that all costing?

I have to agree if dedicated sps you still can't go past a ati power module t5

Not doubting they are good quality, well made lights, and will provide good power and coverage. But for me personally, the blues and whites only LEDs would be a deal breaker.

Keep us updated with how they go though!

they come with the full color module installed so they are full spectrum aswell

Oh really? Nice. I thought the modules were pretty pricey on top of the unit? Do the 12inch versions have 2 pads, and you'll make one of them full colour?

If you are getting unit + modules for $1k then that's a pretty decent deal actually.

So 120W of output per 2ft with some spectrum thrown in. That's much better than the 80W of blues and whites I thought they were, for over $1k each!

Do you mind if I ask where you are buying from?

130W of output per foot ... (Vertex 260 - 300mm) so total will be 390W over my tank
