Hi all,

I have really been battling Dino with this tank for approx 6 months now and slowly getting on top of it finally.

Lost my big pink birds nest in the process which was a shame but that's the only thing which is lucky.

So i dusted off the camera and went wild with some snap shots from today.

For reference, All photos were taken under lights at full power on 2 x ATI Hybrid powermudule, 8 bulb units.
(Approx 1200 watts :eek)
Bulb combo, (all ATI Brand).
6 whites
8 blues
2 actinic
LED's I run Blue, Royal blue and Whites at 100% and reds at 15%. This ramps up from 0% -100% -0% power during the day. I do run just royal blues for 30min in the evening over the tank for some fluorescent eye popping madness! :p

Green fluffy, originated from a Frag off Acro Al.

Stylopora with Strawberry shortcake in the back ground (grown from a frag)

All these grown out from frags also.

One of my favourite acros, Lokani.

Green Pocilopora, stunning.

Another one of my favorites. Nice Deep water species, grown out from a very small browned out colony. ( There will be a couple of frags at the Frag meet available :) ) Rare frag of a long stem Echinata acro in the back ground.

I could drool at numerous items ... but that orange monti with dual colour polyps, and those coloured hornets ...

Nice Gem too ... though I am sure I remember you telling me when I was there last that you were done with expensive fish :p

I cringe when people say "the best tank in such and such" when really there are probably many many tanks that don't grace the pages of the forums BUT yours would definitely be up there with the be best no doubt at all!!

@chimaera that monti is really special, different to the mystic monti i have in the tank. Its hard to see in the pic but its base goes from an orange to a slightly pinkish colour.
Also i had the opportunity to get the Gem at a reasonable price so couldn't resist ;)

How are you finding the ATI LEDs? I'm toying between one of those or two radions or possibley two GHL's.

I've had success with the ATI T5's in the past and would be happy to stick to one of those, but tempted by the others,

Hi Ben,

If you have had success with them before best to stick with them, you wont regret it.

Im very happy with them, colors and growth is very good. I have had both Radions and GHL's in the past and these smash them!

Hi Mate , I started stalking your TJ’s since you posted the youtube clip of your tank the other day . I would love to know more about your filtration and what supplements your adding and how ?
I cannot find anything about it in your tank TJ other that a photo of your sump & skimmer.
