Not a fish but the most expensive thing I've seen was a fluro orange carpet.. @$1,300. Most expensive fish I have is my Sailfin at 90 bucks. I was almost tempted into a Marine Betta at $300, having just seen the same fish for sale (same lfs and all) this afternoon for $220... So who's trying to rip who off??

I did go in there to buy a fish tho , But not a tang ;) and not one @ 185 :rolleyes lol
So now i have
Purple tang
PJ cardinal x2
blue/ green chrome
and too many peppermint shrimp , At least 7

Well last misses took me for every last cent, Oh, wrong fish! :rolleyes

I dont know, the act of lieing about pricing to your other half tends to catch up with you, so much so that you begin believing your own pricing lies..lol

So in other words vspec, the max price you've paid for a fish depends on how we might react? ;)

I don't think I've ever spent over $50 on a fish

Yep, its called the BS'ing sliding scale principle.
Unless of course your bringing home a bag of goodies with their name on it, to an equal or greater value, then its not even asked :)

I should write a book about dodging the wife radars, I'd make a mint..lol
