Hi everyone I'm new to this forum and live in the UK. Just rang Aqua One here and the prices are a bit crazy if you ask me. The radiance led lighting units come in 3 sizes. 60cm, 90cm and 120cm. And are sadly priced as follows £999, £1300, and £1600 that's British pound so in AUD it would be 1476, 1921 and 2365. Hope this helps. I for one will not be spending that amount of money on a lighting unit.

Personally I would spend not more than $450 aud in Led lighting for a 2ft tank... so far my vertex (cant remember how it spell) do a good job and the purple algae appears in new tank just within 2 wks. 2 things I dont like is they sell the hanging kit separately (now I spend around $12 from bunning, get the wire and the job is done) also the lighting angle is not quite wide..

I agree, those prices are way too high for the apparent quality of components used. For example, these are much more expensive than the Illumagic which utilise 3w CREE LED's.

Yea im with you guys, waaaayyyyy too much, any type of pre fab light these days in my opinion costs way too much. But then again i got no money so i cant realy talk.
But either way the diy LED's still came in alot cheeper that even the twin t8 units my LFS was selling.

Clearly something was being hidden because you couldn't just go to your LFS and get actual pricing. :confused:

as the pricing in australia hasnt been released as yet, that why i cant get the pricing

Go and ask your LFS, they'll be able to give you a price (or at least they should be able to).
