New Coral Beauty - Photos Of Everything Else Instead...
The tank is setup in the garage at the moment, just before we moved in the owners said they were going to get the carpets changed so we didn't want to have to move the tank multiple times. Being in the garage is lame though. It's also warm, hence the fans hanging on the overflow at the back. I took the opportunity from moving to change the rockscape.

This is the only photo I got of the Coral Beauty and it was by accident, otherwise it's been hiding in a cave right in the centre of the rock pile. Every time it swims out the other fish scatter, and the lawnmower blenny gets his spikes up and stripes showing, it's cool to see the red tips (not so obvious in this photo).

The clowns have only recently started hiding around the hammers which is fun.

The blenny definitely has the most personality out of all of our old fish, not sure how the angel will compare. The green acropora has grown over its plug/frag-rock. You can also see a little bubble algae on the rock immediately to the left of the blenny, it appeared during the tank's 2 months of being sumpless along with heaps of GHA. The GHA died within a week of the sump being setup and the bubble algae doesn't appear to be spreading.

The blenny's got his fins out in this one.

This is our newest coral which unintentionally provided some frags on its installation...

I'm not sure what these filter-feeders are. This rock was covered in GHA before the sump went in and these things came along with it, sticking out of the algae, growing where zoas used to be. They're much more visible now the algae's gone and their tubes/stalks are pointless. Any idea what they are?

Bubble algae releases from time to time, spreading spores throughout your tank and sump. Of all the algaes I've experimented with, this is the only one I've so far, never been able to eradicate - I've been trying for 5 months. Suggest you deal with it asap, as best you can.

Other than that, looking good.

Hydroids can become a bit of a problem - breaking off the end bit of the rock could be a quick and easy way of getting rid of them.

Love the Coral Beauty. I like the fact that is dominant blue with orange as opposed to some of the other colour variations around. Mine is that colour type too.

It will come to own your tank and soon enough it will patrol every nook and cranny and may hassle your clowns a little bit until they put it in its place.
