Well I just purchased a 2x18x18 for my sump. Now all I need to do is cut some bits of something to make my barriers With. So keep your eyes open for updates here

Right. Just got the bracing off the top of the tank. Was very bad quality glass, shattered in my hands when I pulled on it. (brand new tank by the way)
So now off to Bunnings to look for something that I can use to make the thingos out of, that is cheaper than perspex

Go to plastic for industry on cheltenham rd
Perspex is super cheap there and they will cut it to size

Just keep in mind that perspex will not glue to glass. You may be able to get it too stick for now but it will eventually fail. It's not necessarily critical in a sump but just something to be aware of.

Rough markings, followed by finished product. I did take more photos, but I can't find them on my phone. Because I'm lazy I've used aqua kneed it, to secure the panels in place, as I make a huge mess when trying to use silicone. Hopefully this will also help circumvent the issue magicj spoke of.
