October Update #2
The Tang and the Flame are just the best of mates now, they each now bump the end of the feeding tube to get their food.
The tang now loves his Noori, and rips into it as soon as it goes in the tank.
Added a couple more small acans just to mix up the colours and get a small acan garden going.
I gotta say I'm really happy how the tank has settled down. Mechanically, everything is functioning as planned.
I've installed a small pump in the sump, so water changes are quick and easy now.
I went and purchased the new Jebao Silent Return Pump, which I can't really say is that much quieter - at least I have a backup pump in case of a breakdown that will slip straight in.
I'm happy where all the parameters are:
Phos - 0
Nitrate - .1
Calc - 450
Mag - 1320
kH/Alk - 9.0
pH - 8.4
Temp - 25
Sal - 1.025
Trying to keep any dosing and product to a minimum to keep things simple.

Extremely small dosing of NoPox
Big block of Marine Pure
All-in-One Bio Pellets in a mini reactor
36w UV Filter
1 strom snail that is doing a great job of keeping the sand clean. (handfull of zombie snails coming soon to help)
Still so happy with the D700 Coral Box Skimmer - it just pulls so much out of the water and is dead silent. Anyone considering a new skimmer have to give these a serious look.
