Plumbing Has Arrived
So not having a car at the moment, my three trips to pool/plumbing/irrigation places failed to yield what I needed, so I ended up ordering online.

Now to figure out whether I need anything else to plumb this puppy up and get the water flowing ...

never thought of using flexible plumbing...whats the idea behind using that?
I'm using the Oceanlife Overflow that comes with fixed PVC piping. They are not standard sizes and so flexible piping allows for a better fit.

The overflows aren't that common but from what I have seen, everyone has ended up using flexible piping.

Flex also helps with dampening any noise compared to hard pipe from what I have read.

I currently use the flexible irigation tubing from Bunnings, the clear plastic type. But it's gone hard and brittle over a couple of years and I want this to be long lasting and foolproof.

That is an interesting overflow system. Looking forward to see how it goes.
