I will get a new 2FT tank (2x1.5x1.5) later to replace the existing one. My other frag tank currently using
Vertex Illumilux Marino Bianco 600mm 50/50 Royal Blue - White

However I am also considering octopus grow marine led 120W

Since I am budget tight I wont consider anything under $400

Which one you prefer (or please suggest others)..................

One option to consider within your price range are PAR30/38 lights. If you can find or make suitable fixtures, they can be a good option that provide plenty of PAR power.

Even with shipping from the US, you would be able to get 3-4 of these to cover a 2ft tank. Good options are:

www.boostled.com (PAR30s, great value and small/light bulbs)
www.rapidled.com (PAR38s, well respected but seems like LEDTRiC is stealing their thunder a bit)

If you can stretch the budget a bit, the Orphek PR-25UVs look good. There's also the PR-25XP which also has Red added to the list. $200USD a pop though could be pricey with shipping added though

30cm polar illumagic slave unit will be under 400$

raised up a little bit will light the tank up excellent. note that you dont get sunrise sun set, but you could always add controller latter
