Have you used one in person? In spec and images I think they looked better I was a little bit disappointed with the quality of the unit compared to the photos

found it to be flimsy , also didn't like the way the heatsink was designed

One thing I am not too impressed with is the Standard Mounting Legs (flimsy) currently thinking of a different mounting option rather than getting the hanging kit (DIY legs/bracket)

Yeah one wasn't enough coverage for this size tank, I guess they don't quite cover 1m which I think the tank is.

GhostRPH did yeah, 2x 120W rather than 1x 160W I believe.

I actually don't mind the shading in the corners, but that may be because I have an in wall tank. Sort of gives the feeling of fading into the abyss.

Correct 2 x 120W units replaced the 160w single.....
Much happier with the light spread now..

Tank is 1000mm long and the 120w units are 520mm ish long.. will be hung from the ceiling soon
