Reactor!
So my reactor finally came in... well sort of....

I Ordered a Bashsea MC4x12 through my LFS, however it turns out they no longer make them :banghead So instead they sent their small Pellet Reactor, which should do the same job o_0

Anyways, i was also waiting on some Chemi Pure Blue to show up, but unfortunatly it was delayed, so being an hour away i picked up some Continuum Captiv Phos W, which should help get everything to where i want it, then allow the Chemi Pure to keep it that way once i swap it out.

I was able to order some basic fittings from Dural Irrigation, and have them delivered for free, to tee off my return and have a nice 1/4 turn tap to control flow through the reactor and limit any tumbling of the media, and all seems to have worked out really well! Pics bellow:

whats the advantage of chemi pure?

i'm using Captiv Phos or Phos Ban, the latter seems to be more aggressive in stripping phosphate.

Chemi Pure Blue is a combination of 4 different media, i think it has a Carbon, Purigen, GFO, and i forget the 4th. In a tank my size it will keep No3 and Po4 stable, and give me crystal clear water at the same time, without stripping too much out. Ive read a lot of reviews, and my LFS cannot recommend it more. Do your own research on it, but its an all in one fitration media you can use either in a bag in the sump, or in a reactor
