Hey guys,
About to add some calcium into the tank but bit confused on what it says on te bottle for Sps frags it is saying it needs to be 462ppm
For Lps 440ppm
Soft/ low nutrient Sps 430
Wtf do I go for?
I have in my tank
Hammers
Lots of monti
Duncan's
Heaps of zoas so on
I'm thinking to go Sps frag level since I have about 7 monti a and 2 of them are decent sized! The rest frags.

I'd go the frag sps measurement
Might make other things in the tank grow a bit more but I think that will be the only down side as long as your mag/alk is right that's is

When raising any supplement in the tank to the higher levels do it slowly. You also want to match the red sea magnesium sps to counter act.

I use the powders as they are a lot more cost effective. if you

460 seems awfully high to me even for sps. run between 400-440 and you wont see any problems. But the main thing to remember is if all 3 alk, cal and mg are linked so whatever level you run they all must be kept at the same ratio to each other. So you can run slightly elevated levels as long as they are all slightly elevated, slightly being the main word there though.
