Ro/di Plumbing & Setup
I unpacked my PSI RO/DI Unit and installed new sediment pre filters, carbon block and a Dow Filmtec 75GPD Membrane.
My RO/DI unit featured the Omnipure Inline DI Resin and I opted to replace it with an additional filter housing and a refillable DI resin cartridge, as it is more economical and was suggested by Pete at PSI Filters.
I installed my John Guest Inline Tap with 1/4 Quick Release fittings. I prefer this connection over the supplied washing machine connector as it works better for me and I have never had a leak when using them before.
This tap will be for dedicated RO/DI production but I have left a normal hose connection thread on the bottom of the ball valve if the hose is ever required at this end of the house.
