Generally do not change much provided you give them enough light. They can however look different depending on the colour spectrum of the lights used and the angle of the clam to the light source ;)

Hi mate, yes its a Squamosa , Seems easy enough to keep so far , Keep water quality high and with good lighting you should have no worries , I think its one of the least light demanding clams . Different coulour available , I want a green one next time :)

that pic is about a month old now it has actually grown a bit since then prob closer to 40mm now i ll get another pic soon

to give you an idea on perspective that ric is 10c size and about 30-40mm in front of the clam
