Site Downtime
Hello everyone,

As some of you may have noticed, The Reefuge was down for a period of time this morning. This was due to a slight complication. The Reefuge server was meant to be getting moved from one datacenter to another, but support e-mails were not reaching me for some reason.

This resulted in the webserver getting unplugged, and nothing was able to be accessed. Support was contacted, and the server is now plugged in again (at the old datacenter). What is happening now is all website data is being transferred to a new web server with better hardware in a new datacenter. Once the server settings have been transferred, the data will also be on its way.

This process will take 24 - 48 hours to complete. Once this is done, all new data will be synced with the new server, and nameserver IP's will be changed. Then the process will be complete and The Reefuge will be running on a brand new server.

We apologise for the downtime, and things should be smooth sailing from now on. There may be a 15 - 30 minute downtime period when switching the website completely to the new server in a couple of days.

Thank you.

Have a happy and safe new year, and please stay safe on the roads this holiday period.
