- introduced him last weekend.
- been fine since, eating and swimming happily.
- this morning i noticed he was hanging near the back wall.
- then my partner told me he was in the corner of the tank on the growing, still respiring.
- then he woke up after the lights came on.
- now he is acting really strange, just sitting on the rock.

Note - he has not lost his colour.

Last night i heard something hit the glass lid really solidly... I am suspecting it was him, and he has sustained an injury perhaps?

A six-line sitting still is definitely not normal.

Unfortunately, I can't offer much advice - all you can really do is maintain excellent water conditions etc and cross your fingers.

sorry no advice. Doesn't sound good. My six line wrasse never stops moving around looking for food.

Is your aquarium big enough for a 6 line wrasse? They are such active fish and need a lot of space. You can get mesh stuff to put on top of your aquarium. It stops jumpers exiting the tank and is soft so wouldn't hurt a fish like solid glass would.
