Stocking Time!
My tank cycled after 5 days, I got my first coral after that and have slowly been adding more so that I do not increase the bio load too fast. So far I have a branching hammer, a toadstool, a few acans, two acros, a blasto, a scolly, a white Xenia, and two LPS. I also have a few shrimp and I will be adding a pair of endlers once I have acclimatized them to marine conditions.

There was very little die off from the live rock, no sign of ammonia and everything is doing well. The brown acro has even colored up on some of the bleached areas since it's addition. The only coral not doing well is the Xenia. I'm not testing daily anymore, I figure the coral will let me know if something is amiss.

I was playing around with my camera, trying to figure out how to take good photos of the tank. Haven't really succeeded so far. I've figured out how to prevent the corals in the top half of the tank from over exposing, but now it looks too dark.

I use aperture priority set to 8 with auto iso and shutter speed, auto white balance. If it looks too dark could be a shutter speed that is too fast or high aperture. Post shoot programs usually are able to adjust exposure so it doesn't look as uneven. You may also not have enough light.

Thanks very much, I think the high shutter speed made them so dark, but when I had it set to a lower shutter speed some spots were over exposed. I'll play around with the aperture next time.
