The ph of the salt is not right . Nor is the alk, i use it , just salt n mag the add a buffer to get ph n alk right, however, after my crash( bad hydrometer) i use this n fish are fine, my test coral mushroom aint opening normally,

A triton test would be interesting but I too would be worried about quality control. I mean this stuff is meant for outdoor pools, it's not exactly food grade.

Still running with it @holly ?

Personally I wouldn't. You want the start up to have everything right.

Since I know nothing about it except what I've read here, take my thoughts with a grain of salt .....couldn't resist, I'm childish that way..... :rofl

I'm just thinking to get 300l going for a while with some base rock, then doing decent water changes with better stuff
Hey it may well work and if you do, please post your results. I'm just very specic about the start up of my tanks, call me anal (but not in a gay way). :)
