nice update mate, thanks for sharing!
No worries mate.... It's simple and it's working, no losses since the skimmer came back online..... Beating this algae one hair at a time ...BUT also starting a new treatment today that I've come up with that will be a ten day trial (combination Coral Snow and Bio mate)

It's got to be worth a shot at I think!

Yap this snake oil keeps them alive, yes have used the Zeo on this tank for the entire time but had a few stuff ups along the way all my own fault!
This black hair algae is a rare form of a nightmare that I've discovered in my tank, I don't know it's real name so I named it myself , I'll get pics soon of the stuff.

Thanks!
The gyre.... I shift them around from left to right then sometime up and down .... One side is generally constant, the other alternating, I like the flow to be chaos!!!!
Sometimes the Tenius and birds nest island get swamped in gravel for a day if I'm not carefull!
