Tank Not Built To Specification
So my tank finally arrived today, and it's not built according to the plan I sent them.
It's not been the best experience dealing with this company, so if this tank will work fine then I'll just ignore it.
The issue is that the overflow was meant to be 20cm deep, but it's only 15cm. I'm worried that this will mean my plumbing won't work for the bean animal setup as it'll be underneath less water.

There's also a thin/light 3cm scratch in the middle of the side panel...

Unfortunately I've already fully paid.
What would you do?

You could try using hansen fittings rather than the PVC. They will screw straight into the top of those bulkhead's taking away the need for those union's he's using. This would make them sit quite a bit lower than they currently are.

That scratch though, unacceptable.

Gotta be happy with that service (even tho the first tanks was wrong) at least they owned up and are replacing it for free with no inconvenience

FYI a 150mm weir will work. I had that same be an animal setup on my old tank.

Glad that it's all getting sorted though!

By law they've gotta give you a full refund. As you did not receive what you had paid for in full.

Also any imperfections need to be fully compensated for as this is very unprofessional for a tank building business.

But mad they were easy and quick to fix yiur issue.

Should have hit up @CodyS (east coast tanks)

It is good they are happy to sort it out for you, we all make mistakes sometimes I guess.
It is how they deal with it that really counts. That said it sound like they might need some more quality control.
