Just a follow-up post, the business I've (still) been having trouble with is Abyss Aquariums (http://www.abyssaquariums.com/). Paid for the tank in August, still waiting for the finished product at the end of January.

I don't understand why they wouldn't just come out and resolve the issue? Really wouldn't be that hard.

Anyway, if you wanted to have a go at fixing it yourself let me know and I can help walk you through it (albeit from the other side of the world).

Me either, they'd find themselves in small claims court as well as every forum knowing how they treat customers. Word of mouth advertising, be it good or bad, is invaluable or it can put you out of business. My Irish/ Blackfoot temper would have gotten the better of me by now.
