The Basics Built
So just before moving out of the old's house (was between places) I decided that it would be cool to embark on a weekend project setting up the basics for a Nano tank to be handed over to my niece and nephew. It didn't take much for my brother to jump onto the marine setup bandwagon and he happily accepted the tank and stand which worked perfectly for me because I had an idea for a tank stand that had been bugging me for a while now and I needed to get it out of my head and make it a reality!

It's the first time that I drilled a hole in a tank after spending many years thinking it required some sort of magic fingers to do. Turns out it's as easy as making pie.

The setup has a sump of equal size and it should be able to accommodate a small protein skimmer, a bunch or live rock and 150ltr/hr return pump.

Oh shoot!! I gave it to my niece and nephew!! Worked well, but added a skimmer. I moved onto an all in one nano courtesy of apartment living. Apologies for completely skipping the updates! (I also ditched drilling holes in tanks when I worked out how to fine tune a DIY Overflow so that it was silent)
