So after feeling quite frustrated with the room I have to work with in my current 4x1.5x1.5, I decided to get a 6x2x2 going.
Been purchasing bits and pieces for the build and hope to get it up soon :)

phone picture of my current tank, needs to be cleaned! Lots of things I have learnt from this tank, and god, that overflow is hideous. Impossible to clean too :(
will have to use black acrylic for sure in future.

Bought the brown acro for $5 just because it had a little acro crab in it! :P - Month later, still brown.

It's not hard!
Just build a little electronics cabinet, mount the boards and use tons of zip ties. (Thats the plan!)

luckily the reeflections bbq is on this thursday.... sausages, trifle and corals all in one.

Not much has really happened since my last update.
Tank has arrived, along with return pump and heater.
Just need a skimmer now, all the other equipment from previous tank will be transferred over.

Need to be purchased/done before its up and running:
skimmer
plumbing
sand
water
light stand
20kg live rock
finish overflow cover

Love the hole saw! It came apart as I was drilling though. Then I realised its not actually attached to the bloody bit. LOL.
Cracked my acrlyic in 3 different places whilst cutting a 39cm x 15cm piece for the filter socks.... Not sure if I can DIY anymore, and if so... LOL I failed hard
