The First Light Panel
Hello

Can somebody give the tips about choosing the right lamp for my tank? It is will be a 90 gallon tank. I decided with the fish. In addition I will buy the corals but a bit later. I found old T5 fixture. I hope I can remodel it to install in my tank. How many lumens should be in the lamp? thanks

Well, I have not researched this issue yet, but it seems to me that when the lamps produce too much light in the tank, it can hurt fish and the plants. Am I right?

No, those are not suitable for your tank. You need to give us something to go on here bro. Number of lamps in the fixture, the type of fixture and what you want to try growing in your tank.

We need to know what corals you want to keep. Just softies? Any Clams or Anemones?
